The Correze Region of France is little known to British Cyclists. It is located in the foothills to the west of the Massif Central Mountains. From their base close to the village of Espagnac, the huge network of roads and wide variety of terrain available, makes the area a paradise for your cycling holiday. Routes range from scenic rides beside the Dordogne river, or a relaxing day visiting local lakes and villages on the plateau, to long challenging climbs in the Cantal mountains. There is something for everyone here, from fit beginners to hardened mountain climbers.

With their expert Local knowledge they can select the best routes for you based on your experience and fitness levels, and when you return there is always fresh homemade cake. You can then relax by the pool or by their private lake, before finishing the day with a restaurant quality four course meal.

Absolutely stunning place, James and sam are very welcoming, nothing is to much trouble, food is amazing too, my husband and I didn’t go cycling but still worth the stay, would love to revisit some time, highly recommended even if you don’t cycle.

Absolutely the best cycling getaway! Every single review on FB and TA is five stars and I am in total agreement. The immaculate roads, Sam’s fabulous gourmet meals, James’s exquisite local knowledge and leadership, and comfortable accommodations make this the home-away-from-home-that-is-way-better-than-your-cycling-dream-home that I’m already planning to return to.

I can’t add much more to all the other reviews other than to say that despite the lofty expectations I had coming into Correze Cycling, this experience was way beyond what I could imagine was possible. I came away refreshed, relaxed, challenged, and happy.

This isn’t boot camp. This isn’t your point-to-point cycling X-Treme Challenge package. The beautiful roads will challenge you with whatever type of climbing you seek along with rewarding scenery and long descents as technical as anywhere.

It’s exactly what I needed. Spend the day cycling, then ride back to base, hop in the pool, cake, drinks and aperitif before (world-class) supper, chat and laugh with your new family, and turn in for a good night’s rest ready to do it again the next day. What more could you want? (The answer is “nothing”)
