Mallorca 312 Sportive. The Mallorca 312 sportive is the longest amateur sportive in Europe and one of the most popular. Featuring a peloton of 7000+ riders, you can take on one of the the three distances to win a well earned medal.

Many of our riders start with the M167 and take on the longer distances year on year. This challenge will take you through the Tramuntana Mountain Range and offers you a demanding yet enjoyable cycling challenge.

Cycling in France

France is arguably the spiritual home of cycling thanks to the classic races and the Tour de France. SportActive’s French cycling tours will take you over classic cycling routes and help you compete in two demanding amateur granfondos.

Geneva to Nice (La Route des Grandes Alpes). Geneva to Nice is an epic cycling adventure. Starting in the Mont Blanc region you will ride 550 kms over 1 week. Eleven alpine passes later including gems such as Izoard, Bonette, and the 17 tightly packed hairpins of Les lacets de Montvernier, you will be swimming in the Mediterranean Sea in Nice. This is a brilliant cycling adventure and one you must ride in your career.

Mont Ventoux. The Giant of Provence is considered to be one of the hardest climbs in cycling. This mountain has inspired philospher quotes and due to demanding gradients, a barren lunar landscape near the summit, and its own weather system which can see a gorgeous sunny day at the bottom transform into a thunderstorm at the top, it has become a legend in cycling circles.

SportActive’s tour takes you up two sides of Mont Ventoux, Malaucène, and the infamous Bédoin route. Both will test your limits in every way you can imagine. The tour includes challenging rides through the beautiful vinyards of Provence.

The feeling of reaching the summit is something you have to experience at least once in your cycling career.

Marmotte Granfondo Alps – 174kms, 5000 metres climbing

Marmotte Alps sportive is one of the toughest amateur sportives in Europe. Here, you ride over four Tour de France cols in one day finishing at the top of Alpe d’Huez. This is a demanding challenge and one that demands your focus as well as your cycling skills. Cols include:

Marmotte Granfondo Pyrénées – 165 km & 5600+ altimeters

The Marmotte Pyrénées sportive is a new comer to the circuit beginning in 2016. It is considered the sister event to Marmotte Alps and like its sister offers you a demanding challenge across mountains used in the Tour de France and the Vuelta.

SportActive’s tour provides pro style support and takes care of all logistics before and after the event. All you have to do is turn up and ride the following cols:
