The Campus Triathlon is your chance to race where the Team GB Triathletes train! It is a fantastic opportunity for novice or recreational participants to have fun whilst more serious competitors can really enjoy a fast, technical course to test themselves on! The lake and the surrounding landscape at Quinta do Lago is the perfect place to introduce younger competitors to the fun and challenge of a multisport event in a very safe environment.

The Quinta do Lago Resort really is a fantastic triathlon training environment – it was chosen as a pre-season training base by the British Triathlon Elite Team in 2018. Enjoy up to 3 days of preparation training before the event with our team! The training days will run consecutively from Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th October 2018. You can register for 1, 2 or all 3 days of preparation training and triathlon skills coaching, which will cover: Technical coaching for all abilities in each discipline Open Water Swimming Adaptation Transition Skills Bike Handling Running off the Bike You will also be able to familiarise yourself with the swim, bike and run course routes. The course won’t be marked out and the roads won’t be closed, but there will be adequate safety provision to ensure you can enjoy your training at all times.

THE CAMPUS is a unique training complex providing state-of-the-art multisport facilities for professional athletes and teams. Located in a sheltered section of Quinta do Lago Golf Resort, the planning of the facility has been meticulous, ensuring both excellent training conditions and privacy. The exceptional facilities enable teams to train, work, rehabilitate and relax in a private and exclusive environment. THE CAMPUS is home to the hybrid desso grassmaster — the number one stadium pitch in the world. Newly laid, it is exclusively aimed at professional sporting teams and adheres to top international standards. THE CAMPUS also hosts tennis and padel courts and an expanding range of sports and facilities that will include a high performance gym, swimming pool and Medical Centre.
