Morzine and the Portes du Soleil has over 650km of marked trails and an impressive 12 interconnected resorts, more bike parks than many other alpine resorts including Les Gets (Chavannes/Nauchets area), Linderets (express Linderets) Chatel (Plaine Dranse) Les Crosets and Champery.

The Portes du Soleil is also host to the French and the Swiss national competitions as well as the Champery World Cup downhill tracks which are sure to test even the most accomplished of riders. Plus there’s the Chatel Moutainstyle (or Slopestyle) competition where the world’s best free-riders descend on the resort for a weekend, and the Avoriaz roofstyle competition where there’s a mix of locals and pro’s showing their best tricks all from the roof tops in Avoriaz
