Gran Canaria has been a firm favourite in our road cycling schedule for the past 4 years with a growing reputation for delivering on the weather, climbing and scenery making it the perfect location for cycle training and tours during the winter months especially if you want to stay away from the crowds and prepare for the season ahead.

This 7 night, 6 stage multi centre tour allows you to discover the fantastic cycling and scenery that Gran Canaria has to offer including Pico las Nievas the high point of the island at just under 2000 meters and the Valley of the Tears. The island has so much more to offer than the two big name climbs including stunning ravines, valleys and coastal roads that offer unsurpassed views of the coastline. You’ll be sure to have a few new favourite climbs at the end of this week. It’s a challenging week of riding but as always we take into account that you might want a lighter option depending on where you are with your training so on several days there are choices of an intense or light option that can be made based on your personal goals. As with all of our trips you will have a support vehicle and high quality guides and coaches riding with you every day.

We use three superb 4* hotels for this tour all of which are located in quiet areas of the island, Puerto de Mogan, Agaete and San Bartolome and each has been selected so that you are able to really get a feel for the varied terrain and scenery the island offers.

Daytime temperatures are usually around the high teens to mid 20’s during winter months making it just perfect for cycling in full summer kit.
