A group of members organised the first club Tri Training Camp back in 2015 when they decided some early season warm weather training would be the ideal preperation for the coming season. This first trip was to Perpignan in the South of France and was attended by 8 club members.

The following years the location was changed to what has become the cycling and triathlon training mecca of Mallorca.

To take part in a Coalville Tri Club group ride you must be a member of the club. It is also a good idea to make sure the ride leader has your mobile number and emergency contact number.

The uncoached training camps have been based out of Hoposa Hotel & Apartments Villaconcha in Puerto Pollenca. This offers a great base, with a 25m Pool, close to the harbour for sea swimming and ideal placed for the iconic routes around the island including Sa Calobra, Col de Femina, Soller and Cap de Formenta Lighthouse to name but a few.
