Since 2014 we have been organising cycling holidays in this beautiful region of Spain. Home to spectacular scenery, challenging mountain climbs that can be ridden all year round and exhilarating descents. You will love the hospitality of this little-ridden region.

Orgiva is the ideal base for your cycling holiday with the snow topped Sierra Nevada mountain range to the North and the Mediterranean Sea a short ride South. ‘La Alpujarra’ boasts over 320 days of sunshine each year and the warm climate early on in the year makes it ideal for riding. The daily maximum temperatures average ~20°C in February and March making for a very welcome change from the Northern European winter. Unlike many popular cycling holiday destinations, the roads here are quiet and the drivers you do meet are patient and friendly. Sometimes it seems like you’re the only people around as you can easily complete a 30-45 min climb without ever encountering a car. Whether you’re climbing, descending or bashing along the coast road honing your group riding skills you’ll soon see why we think this is the best place to ride a bike!

As well as fantastic riding our ride leaders are on hand to offer training and technical advice to conquer both the climbs and the descents so you come back a better all-round rider. Our price includes airport transfers, breakfast and evening meal so there’s no surprises and we can arrange local bike hire if needed.
